Open Jam @ Green Brook Swim Club CANCELLED (8/20/2011 & 8/27/2011)

The Open Jam / Pool Party scheduled at the Green Brook Swim Club (August 20 & 27) has been cancelled due to electrical concerns.

The plan was for the roof of Green Brook Swim Club to be converted into an Open Stage, where musicians will take turns performing alone, or with a house band. This is a family-friendly event, featuring rock, blues and jazz.

Unfortunately, as we evaluated the electrical panel, we couldn't be certain on whether or not it could handle the power requirements. There is also concern as to what kind of spikes might be sent once the lights kick in, etc., and what those spikes would due to the musical equipment. So, as a result, we cancelled it.

If we can find a way to do this next year, we certainly will as there was great interest.
